Just wanted to say the same thing I thought before the game when I saw the team sheet.
Why wasnt Kuyt playing?
He should always start against the top 4 or 5 teams away from home. Thats where he is worth his weight in gold, because he provides width, and tirelessly tracks back.
Now the whole team played like ****e, but I think Kenny made a huge error by not playing Kuyt, especially considering we had Skrtel at rightback.
I would like to pick on individuals, but seeing as they were collectively rubbish, its best to move on and treat the whole thing as a leaning experience for the players, and hopefully the manager.
I worry that Kenny undervalues Kuyts contribution. I was never his greatest fan, and hate to see him deployed against weaker opposition. But I have come to appreciate his contribution when we come up against strong opposition. In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

Leaving Kuyt out of the side was baffling - and was one of the reasons for the heavy loss.Originally posted by Charly View PostNot read any the previous 14 pages.

I wonder if Kenny puts more value in technical ability than work-rate?James Philip Milner Fanclub #1
