Absolutely. Nothing that we should be surprised with. It was only matter of time before he gets injured, which is exactly why we bought a new CB.

Really looking forward to seeing Coates tomorrow.

Then they would have better absorbed the impact.

thing is though if it's unlucky or not....he slipped over and broke two ribs! how the **** do you slip over on grass and break two ribs

if it was anyone else other than agger (and aurelio/kewell/johnson/kelly/aqualini ) i would think it was unlucky
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Aurelio would have torn his cruciate ligament and split open his skull.

Falling badly can break an arm. I think its completely unfair to be lashing at him over this injury. He'll probably make it back before Gerrard does.

Ah sure it was only a matter of time, how on earth he broke ribs is a mystery, anyways its blantantly clear we need another experienced CB (preferably a good one)

We need stability at the back, I can see us buying a defender in January. The sooner we get our future back four sorted, the better.

i can only speak for myself.

I dont blame him for his injuries but that doesnt mean he isnt injury prone

i think he is good but it does not help our defence him being in and out.

thats why i thought last season lets cash in. It was about getting the maximum we could and replacing him. It is complicated by the view that carra and skrtel are not the quality we now need as well.

Are you suggesting that the only reason we signed Coates is because Agger is because injury prone?
