[Dunphy] CJ's a nothing poster. [Dunphy]

As for Agger, his injuries are far too regular for my liking. When fit he's our best CB, but we are never able to depend on him for large streches of time. I wouldn't sell him though, I think Skrtel needs to go first.

ive broken both sets of ribs and it hurts like mad. The first time i carried on playing and got through the game but when i got back home i couldnt breathe, sleeping is a nightmare and pray you dont cough.

the other side wasnt as bad ( i only broke one this time) but it still hurt like buggery. It took best part of 6 weeks to get back to playing football. But luckily for agger he's got the best doctors and medical care available to him.

All I had was a paracetamol and a bitching wife.

I agree with the other guys, agger is just too injury prone to be considered automatic first choice anymore. Skrtel is plain rubbish and soon Carragher's legs will be running backwards. I still think we need Gary Cahill and its something that we should be looking at in January. Coates is very young but he'll get plenty of chances. However, another centreback is a top priority.

With all that money we've saved on wages, and add meireles' 12m we could get cahill for £5m ish and look to further bolster the team. People slate january but suarez was purchased for probably 12-15m less than he would have cost in the summer.

The Agger injury is a huge blow, but I don't see Cahill as any sort of answer. We need far better than him if we are to push on.

you seriously didnt expect this ?

agger cant play 50 games a season. his body just cant handle it. If we get 20 we're lucky.

for £5m or so there isnt a better centre back out there. people talk about vertonghen from ajax but at least cahill is proven and there's no english tax with 6 months of his contract left. for £5m ish its good business.

Who else were you thinking of ?

Umm, fair enough about his previous injuries, but not sure how the breaking of bones can contribute to a players reputation as bring injury prone.

Surely it's unlucky rather than him being soft?
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"

i dont think being injury prone is being soft. however aggers appearance stats do point to him being injury prone.

                          he is fragile.

which is a shame as i think he is our best cb.
