    European Pecking Order?

Just out of interest, taking off our red tinted specs, where would you rank us in terms of Europe's best sides?

I ask because no non-LFC fan i know thinks we stand ANY chance of winning the CL, but i think we've a fair shot.

Furthermore, the bookies dont rate us for it either.

So generally, how would you rank LFC in a 'league table' of best sides in Europe?

I'd say something like top 8 or so. What say you?

I'd put us in a group of 10 best:
Milan, Juventus, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Lyon, Liverpool, Arsenal, M.Utd, Chelsea, Bayern Munich
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

Surely you cannot have Juve above Inter at this current moment in time?

There are 11 sides that could win the European Cup this season...

        The two favourites...

        Chelsea
        Barcelona

        The second batch...

        AC Milan
        Lyon
        Madrid
        Manchester United

        The third batch...

        Bayern Munich
        Arsenal
        Liverpool
        Valencia
        Inter Milan

I'd be very surprised if any side from the third batch wins it though.

For them to go out, Bremen will need to avoid defeat in the Nou Camp. Cant see it, personally.

We were six minutes away from going out in the group stages then, "you beauty" etc.
              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Man U have an inflated opinion of themselves that is reflected in the above groupings. I think we have as much chance as the Mancs and if we meet the Chavs - well we have beaten them in semis before haven't we?

United are playing well at the mo though. I'd easily say top 10 maybe top 8.
