Yup, and if he gets found guilty it doesn't necessarily mean that he said anything. Likewise if he gets found innocent it doesn't mean that he is.Originally posted by Neil Young View Post
It doesn't necessarily mean he'll be found guilty I suppose, just that he has a case to answer.
If you know what I mean. FFS sake.
Thought the same.Originally posted by Vermilion View PostFunny, he says what he said in Uruguay about using certain words, and hey presto they charge him.
In light of Blatter's recent comments, perhaps he can represent Suarez on this case.

It could be just to ensure they (the FA) are being seen to take accusations of racism seriously.
I'd hope that the evidence for & against is released into the public domain at some stage. That way there can be no accusations of a stitch-up or cover-up. He can then be vilified, or cleared accordingly.

The Club this afternoon received notification from the Football Association of their decision to charge Luis Suarez and will take time to properly review the documentation which has been sent to us.
We will discuss the matter fully with him when he returns from international duty, but he will plead not guilty to the charge and we expect him to request a personal hearing.
Luis remains determined to clear his name of the allegation made against him by Patrice Evra.
The Club remain fully supportive of Luis in this matter. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

But Suarez has admitted using certain words, just that he did'nt intend them to be racist as they are'nt where he comes from, he says.Originally posted by BringbackBiscan View PostIf there's no evidence and it's a he said/he said thing then the FA cannot find him guilty on Evra's word alone. That I'm sure of.
If the fa think differently, he's ****ed.
I would say to the fa, You had no evidence except Evras word, then Suarez admits to using certain words but says in Uruguay these words are'nt offensive, and him admitting to using them is proof of this...otherwise if he truly intended and knew he'd been racist....he'd have kept his mouth shut.
Obviously they'll counter with...'nah..he's just covering his tracks incase we had him bang to rights'.

You can't defend a alleged racist. He's been charged and they must have reasonable evidence to prove that. I can't believe people are saying he should have kept his mouth shut when speaking to the press. He should have never said the bloody word, what ever he said. I don't care if he gets taken to the town by the press. Same stick for all including Terry. Where habouring 'a seen to be terrorist - I'm mean racist' at the club now. Kenny defended him, the club defended him and that damages the image and brand.
