We should support our player and pull out of all fa competitions in protest at the length of time the fa have taken. It comes to something where some possible offensive language between two players in the heat of battle is deemed worse than a career threatening tackle or someone questioning the integrity of an official. Same goes for terry, surely half his own team would disown him if he was a bonafide racist. Worlds gone mad. They should be fined and given a warning. The topic of racism is aired publicy which gets people talking, which can only be good and the progress can continue. Funny how fifa and uefa don't act when you have large sections of national countries fans ie the balkands who are signed up racists and make it known at every opportunity. These are players that play with and train with and relax with off the pitch, black footballers. They are not racists. I predict a ten game ban.

@ Yeah Chris, have you ever been racially insulted?
Explain to me whats so thick. Read the FA statement. Insulted based on race, colour and origin. Thats a Racist. He's been alleged to be one by Evta. FA must have the proof to charge him. Or why else would they charge him?
I am giving a hyperbole reaction relating to the club and Kenny.

I am awaiting the initiation of proceedings which will lead to lifetime ban for Rooney.Originally posted by ashey View PostThe FA

Liverpool player charged following incident in Liverpool–Manchester United match.
The FA has today charged Liverpool’s Luis Suarez following an incident that occurred during the Liverpool versus Manchester United fixture at Anfield on 15 October 2011.
It is alleged that Suarez used abusive and/or insulting words and/or behaviour towards Manchester United’s Patrice Evra contrary to FA rules.
It is further alleged that this included a reference to the ethnic origin and/or colour and/or race of Patrice Evra.
The FA will issue no further comment at this time.

They've basically just admitted charging him because Evra said too, now he'll have a hearing where you can pray he's found guilty so you can hammer him on here.

Aye,Originally posted by Baracus View PostYou can't defend a alleged racist. He's been charged and they must have reasonable evidence to prove that. I can't believe people are saying he should have kept his mouth shut when speaking to the press. He should have never said the bloody word, what ever he said. I don't care if he gets taken to the town by the press. Same stick for all including Terry. Where habouring 'a seen to be terrorist - I'm mean racist' at the club now. Kenny defended him, the club defended him and that damages the image and brand.
Think he's ****ed tbh chaps, very worrying.
They must have sufficient evidence to have charged him, really can't see him winning his appeal either.
Not only will he get a lengthy ban but I can see it seriously affecting his game and us as a team. I can see him ****ing off too.
What is already a poor season has just got considerably worse.

Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

Jesus christ, talk about going overboard. They dont even mention any evidence, just use the word alleged, it could easily just be the FA showing they arent brushing it under the carpet but then let him off with a not guilty at the actual hearing, can we not actually wait and see before declaring him evil, sold etc?Originally posted by Slinky Skills View PostAye,

He should've let his football do the talking and deserves all that's coming to him if he used ANY reference to race regardless of this bollocks about it meaning something different in Uruguay
We always knew he was a bit daft but this is disappointing (EDIT: I should've added 'if true' and not assumed that folk would know that that's what I meant)Last edited by Norbs; 16-11-11, 07:32 PM.

They have charged him. I'm guessing its the same way the police charge a rapist or terrorist. They must have reasonable evidence to do so, otherwise they should throw out the case.Originally posted by Chris View PostALLEGED you fool. ALLEGED. Lets wait and see what the actual verdict is.

And if he is found not guilty the whole FA stinks for bring it this far. When they could easily say there is no case to answer.
I'm not lining up to hammer him. Every one that has no association with LFC is going to be lining up to hammer him every time he plays for us.

The problem for the FA is they will have to charge Terry and they have to be seen as being consistent.
Suarez will be found not guilty due to lack of evidence. The fact the club are giving Luis their full backing indicates there isnt a case against him. Terry on the other will be ****ed over

And guess what? Not everyone that has a trial gets found guilty. Cant believe some of our own have him as guilty unless proven innocent. Lets see what happens at the hearing.
