Evra accuses Suarez of racism

Most of you probably think its ok to use the p word.
I had this argument the other day in the shop , the customers thought it was ok to say p*ki shop as they don't mean it as racist. Even the boy who works for me thinks it isn't racist. He talked about it in the same way as Scottish people are called Scots ,or Australian people aussiess, in fact it was his mums boyfriend who mentioned the Aussie bit as he was in at the time. He is my mechanic.

I've had people say going to the chinkies when they talk about oriental food shops and I. tell them thats racist, and say Chinese or oriental instead.
they don't think about it that way.

Is it? The fact also that someone like me couldn't really turn around and call the other person a white such n such as there would be other people standing there ,who might be decent and would take offence, as a kid,that thought did cross my mind.

You have no idea what racial abuse can do to a person.
I was alone v many. Did grow up not liking white people at one point when I was young. My two best mates were from same background as me.

i had dogs chasing me by their owners/ our shop was regularly visited by the local nf brigade would take what they like smash up the shop then wait for eternity for the cops to come and the usual **** jibes while playing football for the school team[our manager/teacher was asian ......now all this was along time ago but even at work when you get some customers they look at us then look for a white manager/ or go to a a till with a white person even though the queue is twice as long...... **** still goes on

We are all inherently racist if we be completely honest with ourselfs here but, you literally find it in every part of the world except perhaps some rare Buddhists countries, but on a whole its there, we all must try harder to stamp it out. Personally I have never thought it was ok to use the P word or any other word like it for that matter.

Also I would like to sat whilst Est 1892 and its motley crew of weirdos can be accused of many things by and large racism is not one of them, most of the people on this site hold much more civilized intelligent views on race, gender and discrimination by and large, so I would say most of us all different colors sex's sexualities would not think using the P word is ok, I have known these shower of cunts for a long time now and whilst there taste in music and computer games is appalling and metaphysically they are as about as enlightened as a load of hovis bread, they are by and large quite an accepting bunch, me included.

I don't think he said anything racist, but let's say he did in the heat of the moment, does it make him racist by some definition even if he doesn't harbour any racist feelings and is against discrimination and racist comments?

I have said and done things, not racist mind, that were not in my nature and not something I stand for. I won't judge him so soon. Either way I think the club might have wanted a formal charge to clear his name though.

So is it true that coloured people abuse other coloured people with racist comments, based on one of them being a 'lighter' colour than the person they are abusing ?

People think because they are lighter than their counterpart, they think that somehow they are superior. This can be seen in black on black racism, or Indian on Indian Racism, or even Indian on black, or even light black on dark indian!

I find it quite a coincidence that Luis has been charged with this right around the same time Blatter has come out with more ludicrous comments.

It's sort of starting to feel like this is turning into a political game being played by the FA, who incidently are calling for Blatter to resign and by charging Luis have gone against what he's said but are also now seen as doing something about it.

the alternative is Luis is guilty and it's all a coincidence both announcements (Blatter & Luis be charged) were about the same time.
