I work with a Spanish lady, and i just asked her what 'Negrito' meant. She said it meant 'Black' and that they do not have another way of describing a Black person. Just passing this on.

Strange that so many should offer up alternative explanations. Must be a regional thing. Heard it first hand and had it explained to me, it's essentially sweetheart or mate.

Other accounts, from Spanish based English people and even Spanish Reds have offered similarly acceptable explanations.

This bugs me, after all this time with no footage or sound evidence from sky, why if Suarez really meant to racially insult...would he now admit to using certain words with the caviat added of they were'nt meant as racial slurs but just banter, sort of says to me that he really did'nt mean to be racial and really believes that what he said was'nt racist ?

Otherwise, if he really felt they were and intended them to be racist, he'd say and admit to nawt surely ?
