I don't believe that you can compare this particular incident with the real world racism that people experience around the UK. At the end of the day what we have here is one multimillionaire trying to wind up another multimillionaire. These people are completely detached from real life, they know nothing. I think its an insult to people who suffer real racism to see this story being sensationalised like this.

On another note, there are plenty of people on here who take a swipe at England and the English at every opportunity, yet it appears that its only the English media and FA who are taking Blatters recent comments this seriously, its apparently receiving next to no coverage across the rest of the world. We have a police investigation on Terry and we've charged Suarez, yet the picture a lot of people like to portray of the English is one of National Front Skinheads. We've even had someone on here suggesting that its so much more difficult to win the bloody X Factor in the UK if you're black because we have so many racists phoning up for the white acts.... Racism exists everywhere, but from what I've seen, it seems to be the FA that is trying to tackle the problem head on.

Personally I have never thought it was ok to use the P word or any other word like it for that matter.

Also I would like to sat whilst Est 1892 and its motley crew of weirdos can be accused of many things by and large racism is not one of them, most of the people on this site hold much more civilized intelligent views on race, gender and discrimination by and large, so I would say most of us all different colors sex's sexualities would not think using the P word is ok, I have known these shower of cunts for a long time now and whilst there taste in music and computer games is appalling and metaphysically they are as about as enlightened as a load of hovis bread, they are by and large quite an accepting bunch, me included.
Who are you, and what have you done with Nicey?

I think what you have said there is pretty spot on.

Too be honest, race cant come into internet forums anyway. Unless a poster makes a deal of it, then how is it known where they are from or what colour they are?

We all live in a very weird world.
You can racially abuse a white man but generally people from minority ethnic backgrounds have experienced racist behaviour towards them and so know how it feels. Ergo, they know better. ALL ethnicities are guilty of it though, some of the worst racism is by Black Kenyans towards the country's Indian populations. ALL racism is wrong, white people are lucky to not often be the victims of it.

I doubt anyone on here had heard of the word 'Negrito' before this but I'd bet my left bollock that most would assume it was a racist term used in Spanish. All players sledge other players but using any term relating to colour is stupid, especially in a foreign tongue where it's most likely to lose something in translation. It does seem as if Luis has admitted using the term and is hoping that the FA rule that it is a generic term not reserved for any ethnic background in particular. I'm trying to think of a comparison used in Britain and can only think of 'gypo'. Not a great example though and it's not really ever used as a term of endearment. Playing devil's advocate here, if it's a generic term of endearment, was Luis also using it to describe Ferdinand, Jones and Evans when they were challenging him? Seems odd that he was only calling the little Black man 'little Black man'.

Being a bit of a drinker, I would've immediately thought it was a cocktail, probably with Kahlua and something fizzy

Quite. Blatter's opinion has been timed to coincide with events in England. The premier league is FIFA's most high profile league so I'm pretty sure that the comments were in direct response to matters over here. It's a ****ing shame that he's not overted his attention to the disgusting behaviour of Eastern European federations where racism seems to be the norm. England deals with racism in a very severe way and long may that continue. The sooner Blatter is removed from his post the better.

I've heard it before (in-laws live in Spain) and Pacheco used it on Twitter before it came out that Suarez had reportedly used the word.

So that's Norbert's left bollock to come off.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Said he is shocked at the accusations....Luis Suarez is not racist and he would happliy stand up in any court to defend him. Went into detail a it with things we have already heard - that calling someone negrito is nowhere near seen as a racist term virtually anywhere in the world except england. Also annoyed with the english press/fa and how they are making something out of nothing and how suarez has been made to look etc.

he was....he was getting very angry about it but conducted himself brilliant.

Great line when he said this sort of thing goes on daily in South America and across europe and no-one bats an eye lid - when Irani said, "isn't that wrong, a bit of backwards thinking" poyet replied "are you saying you are right, and that the rest of the world have it wrong?" stumped them a bit that.
