The statement from the club means that we are not going to back down.

If it has to be taken to other, more credible and authoritative courts, it will be.

If the FA statement isn't bulletproof the FA had better be prepared for an expensive and, probably (extremely) embarrassing, series of legal challenges. This is a test of our owners as much as anything else, and I think they'll rise to it.

I don't believe Louis is a racist. I don't think any stigma attaches to him or the club, I don't care about the arsehole that is Terry.

I think that Louis deserves our support. I'd like to say that I'm confident that the FA will be made to eat their own ****, but I'm not. I am confident that we will appeal and get a better result.

Of course it SHOULDN'T matter, but my guess is if we refer to the other 3 players the FA would just go: "Well, that was in previous seasons - we'd really like to tighten things up this season..."

I'm gutted for Suarez and for the club. When things seemed to be going well, this is a devastating blow.

He is a man of integrity and you can just tell he is such a genuinely nice character. He get in trouble due to a competitive streak but there is nothing to link him to being a racist. He clearly has been the victim of cruel injustice and the real victim of discrimination is Luis Suarez himself. Orchestrated by the FA, Man Utd and the media. They are going to drive a world class player out of the country if this continues for unfounded allegations and a misrepresentation of his personality and character. I feel for his family at this time. I hope Liverpool FC act on this and swift justice will be done.
