As far as the gesture goes, they shouldnt have a leg to stand on - photographic evidence of Rooney, Ashley Cole and Gary Neville all doing the same thing and none of them were charged, let alone banned.
I don't think that matters to be honest, they probably have more evidence for the gesture than they had for the racism case. They clearly just wanted to 'do' him, I wouldn't be surprised if we are successful on appeal in reducing the ban they do him again with this.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

But they are English
If they do try and ban him for it though, he should accuse the FA of racism.
I think he'll get the ban halved on appeal. hence the reason its so high in the first place. but this isn't about bans, its about utd and their influence on the governors of our game.
It has set a very dangerous precident, which it seems can easily be abused.
Yes a conserted effort and you can get at least half a team of your biggest rivals banned for 8 games based on lies in one game against them. I see the scum and the chavs using this to the upmost advantage

Yep, was the same with Heinze, looked water tight on ours and Heinze's side but you go against Man Utd and you lose anyway!

My Manc in-law asked if the other 3 cases wasn't in earlier seasons?
@Geoff_Pearson - LFC can't appeal #suarez decision to a court of law unless errors in arbitral procedure. FA Rule K was upheld in High Court (Stretford v FA)
