I don't understand this one bit, how can a FA get someone to sign away their rights to due legal process? They can't just ignore the law of the land despite what it thinks.

I know there probably isn't much political will on the part of clubs to test this but i'm pretty sure that contravenes so many laws that it would easily be overturned.

Football needs to be taken down a peg or two.

There is more chance of us winning an appeal than that happening.

Tim Vickery commenting on the World Service, reporting that in Uruguay they are saying how can Evra say 'get off me you South American' and not be punished, and yet Suarez can for what he said.

Vickery also says Suarez may not be getting a fair deal, as this is also about giving Blatter a kicking on the racism front, and saying look this is how serious WE take it.

I think Rule K is the one where you cant take part in any domestic games whilst your appeal to CAS is ongoing

This is what I mentioned earlier
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

Is there any sort of precedence in a racial ban in any sport? And whats this nonsense about 'insulting words'? If insulting words are going to be enforced there'll be no players and definitely no supporters at games.

I'd like to see the full statement to see what sort of consideration has been given to Luis' admission of guilt.

It's really not about the ban anymore. It has the potential to ruin a man's life because of the spotlight it is getting. If we do not get this ban reduced then he will have to live with this for his whole playing days and beyond. People will believe the drivel published by the media and the charges without even doing their own research. Thats just the world we live in these days. Everyone seems to have an opinion yet no facts to back them up.

Some fella I've never heard of claiming a barrister in this case owns a horse with Ferguson.

Just like most fans of other clubs still believe the drivel THAT paper said all them years ago...

Any Mod fancy removing that wiki image? Really doesn't add to the thread in any way.
                        Hello mert.

Denis Smith has Wrexham connections. Would be funny if the FA ****ed up ona procedural issue.

You HAVE to reside in England to sit on the panel. I can only find from wiki he is working at stoke but not where he lives.

I think that's a bit OTT I think people are clutching at conspiracy straws now.

The one that stands out most for me, is his ban finishing after the United game. Something about that stinks.
