What I do find quite telling, once again, is how the British Isles can show, how - world-wide - they are at the forefront of pure and utter media filth/witch-hunting, and saddening most all is, that it works and that the country's (unfortunately, majority-wise, quite ****ing dumb) people lap it all up whilst munching on their bacon sarnies in't morning.

That is what's shocking for me, most of all. Is how the whole system of government/FA/media/populus works and how it CAN work. You get the Bild newspaper here and they are quite **** (Germany), but the amount of vitriol and the many MANY different (sold by the millions a month) tabloids and how they continue to exist is quite shocking.

He isn't going to be able to go anywhere now without someone calling him names or branding him a racist, even going out with his family could prove difficult. they could even become threatened, imagine whats on Suarez' mind right now.

that, more than anything is what makes me so angry
The times they are a changin'.

Sadly people buy tabloids and the papers feed them what they want to read.

How the **** do any of these ****s know if it is right or not? Hearing was held in private so presumably they havent got a ****ing clue how or why the decision was reached and cannot possibly know if it is right or not.

Surely Maddock now must feel like a cock after publishing this, especially as the 'betrayed' headline goes against Kenny's support for Luis earlier on Twitter.
            Are we winning?

Aye, and I don't blame him. It does seem a lose/lose situation though. If he did went, the hacks, the FA, they'd all be content and their bullying would find another victim. If he stays...well, same thing really.

Try getting a rape charge that has been dismissed cleared from your name. Same thing. Damage done. 'He shouldn't have been in that hotel room with her either way, what was he doing. No smoke without fire.' Blah, ****ing blah.

I think the wording of the official statement says it all for me, cleary we as a club are convinced of his innocence & if that wasn't the case I really don't believe we'd stick by him as we have.

This feels like a hatchet job based on evidence of one man who has been proved as an unreliable witness previously.

I feel most sorry for him as a person and his family as even if it gets overturned this sort of thing sticks

Yep, they are genuine scum. A few on here have wondered why Kenny treats them all with complete and utter contempt, this is yet another example of why.

cant believe it wasnt slapped wrists. context is everything. evra called him a south american and he calls him something that in his way of life is normal. the FA could have been better with this. much better. They've used him as an example. *******s.

interesting precedent for terry given that the whole world could lip read what he said. but he's a nasty piece of work who deserves a lifetime ban. suarez's literally was lost in translation. especially if evra did start it with the south american comment in ****ing spanish. surely evra is as guilty of discriminating.

i think suarez will go because of this. may not be immediate but its a long road to recover from this im afraid. gutted.

I also predict that the police find nothing to charge Terry with and therefore leave the FA the chance to say he was cleared by the police so "no case to answer"

Well, we're still waiting for the FA's full statement with points in situ.

Absolutely. And considering England is not really the most cultured place to be in, considering the amount of drunks/pub culture/fights/etc...

Thing is, they don't care one jot whether it's right or wrong, they got the sensational easy headline material they craved, they are happy.

Professional Footballers' Association chairman Clarke Carlisle thinks the decision is "100% correct".

He told 5 live: "There are definitely cultural differences for a lot of players coming from South America and from the continent into England.

"But even though those differences do exist, we still expect people who come and work here to adhere to the standards and the laws of this land.

"It's wholly acceptable in parts of the Middle East to chop off the hands of thieves but we wouldn't tolerate it here and it's just the same when it comes to racism."
                                Oh I don't know.
