I wish we was in Europe, so at least Suarez got some playing time in between

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I expect us to appeal to their decision and I feel optimistic that they will reduce the ban down to 5 or 6.

It will be interesting to see if the FA react to the LFC statement especially the insult part
I make no apologies, this is me

Yep, the club statement has cheered me up a bit, they are clearly going to take this on in whatever way we can. If nothing comes from it at least we are showing immense support for him anyway which he'll no doubt repay in the future.

I'm not so sure, they'd easily get round that by adding a question mark to the headline 'Racist'.

I guess that is the other possibility.

Personally I think he'll raise his game one more notch after this.

Daniel Taylor taking a swipe at the club's statement and getting pilloried for it on Twitter.
                        Are we winning?

                          We will appeal

Cant say I'm optimistic of improving the sentence

                            Aye.

Very classy and well put together.

Made me truly proud of my club.

Having read the rules that the charges relate to it seems you could get a 4 match ban for just insulting someone (Suarez' ban is double that because of the race element). Now if everyone complained every time someone said something offensive (e.g. called someone a prick) there'd be no body playing in the Premiership.

If the Mancs have the gall to play Evra against us in January I'm sure one of our players will kill him. Or at least break his leg.

He'll know what hell is if he's played in that game.
