Suarez found guilty last Friday. The 4 days since have been used to explore every possible legal consequence. FA have been v diligent.

I well believe that the decision was made last friday. The 4 days since have been used to delay, thus ensuring that the 8th game of the ban will be Man Utd away.

Court of Arbitration for Sport, yes. 'Normal' courts of law and order, such as the High Court as some have suggested however, no. I think.

You may well be right about Suarez taking private legal action. But i'm not sure it'd count as a restraint of trade, as he'd still be being paid during the ban. If someone is suspended from work on full pay, they too couldnt take legal action due to a restraint of trade as their pay would still be being paid.

That was an issue of employment issues and rights, which falls under EU law. This kind of thing doesnt.

The difference is that a member of the public made a complaint about what Terry did, which turns it into a public order offence related to racism/inciting racism. That turns it into a legal issue outside the confines of footballing authorities. With the Suarez thing, there was no complaint from any member of the public, so it is not dealt with by the law of the land and falls solely under the durisdiction of football.
