Our set up was wrong. Downing playing on the right again ffs.
The subs were baffling. Bellamy off and then bringing Agger on near the end so Enrique could play left midfield?
Yet again we create chances and can't finish teams off. We should've been five up before half time. We need a goalscorer - a Darren Bent type player. I was thinking earlier how the Torres of 2007-09 would've scored almost every chance that Suarez had today.
Our defence is creaky. Agger has to start if he is fit. You don't leave your best defender on the bench when you've got two CB's that are so inconsistant. Reina was all at sea for the goal too.
Carroll... how he missed that header near the end is beyond me. £35m ffs.
Maxi again can't get a sniff. Yet he was one of our best players between February and May last season.
How can you bring on a central defender, play him left back, move the left back to left midfield (after you've taken off your left midfielder who played on the right of midfield to accomodate a forward who was stuck on the left of midfield)?
Adam is proving to be the average player that we all thought he was.
Everyone knows that Gerrard's best position is as an attacking midfielder. He played okay in the deeper role today, but with him there you're losing a goal threat. And we can't afford to do that.
****ing fortunes spent on average players who can't even scrape a win against Norwich.

It was just so LFC today. We're our own worst enemy.

If we lose to Roy's crew next week a civil war will begin amongst our supporters. Personally think we will win that game though.

It is more a tactical mistake. We don't have the midfield to play 4-4-2 and yet we are doing it.

          You must wonder why?

Play three in the middle like against Man U and the players last the whole game.
I have to agree that 451 433 or what ever you'd like to call it has been our best formation for a few years now.

442 is fine, if we have two players who can last the distance in breaking up attacks and getting into the box. That requires fitness. Both Gerrard and Adam did fine in the first half, but both tired in the second when Norwich stepped up their game.

But they aren't the only ones dropping off pace 2nd half. Composure seems to go when opponents step up after an ear full at half time, and it seems that 'lesser teams' have more in the steam room to keep up the pace when we seem to drop off. That never used to happen a couple of seasons back. We used to bore the opposition into fatigue, then win with superior fitness.

              Welcome

If we play with Carra and Skrtel then we must score at least twice and I'm not so sure we will do that.

We will get big problems at set pieces if they play.

                Cheers.

Do you think Kelly could be a possibility at CB ? Agger and Kelly/Coates seems decent on paper.

it was good old pepe that gave the goal away today. and if you want to blame anyone else, what about enrique who once again failed to close the crosser down. the two centre backs did little wrong.

Carra was already beaten to the header and he shouldn't have been.

I don't think there'll be a civil war. But the message does need to go out that you need to work hard at homework to get any advantage in this league now. It's a very different game to 10 years ago.

In an ideal world, Kenny should be manager facing the press, with Steve Clarke and Rafa Benitez doing the coaching. It ain't going to happen, which is a shame, because there are strengths that could be utilised here that could combine to be the ultimate new bootroom. Too many egos.

Pepe was very poor for that cross today, but Enrique needs to look at himself and ask himself if he could have done more to prevent that ball coming in in the first place.
Still expect a keeper of Pepe's class to dominate that ball, but its down to more than one player.

No point of trying to sugarcoat.

He hadn't had the good game and in the first half his missed head clearance almost cost us a goal as well.

That said, Pepe was late for that cross too so he is definitely to be blamed for their equalizer.

Really need to tighten things up at the back as we cannot stop leaking goals.
