    An out and out striker

Who is there Premier League or elsewhere in the world that we can realistically go for, an instinctive finisher of the likes of Henrik Larsson, Fowler and Romario.

The only one I can think of is Falcao maybe but he has only moved to a different club recently.

    Who's out there?

Nowhere near at the level of players above, but I'd quite like Darren Bent. Pacy, can play on his own or with someone and certainly knows where the goal is. Far too pricey though especially given his age now.

No doubt I'll be ridiculed by cunts who can't suggest any better alternatives. :bird:

I'd have either of the two at Villarreal. Soldado aswell.

I don't think Darren Bent is very pacy, but he is definitely the type of player we need. I still stick by the fact that Demba Ba would have been a good option before the end of last season.

Higuain is one I can possibly seeing us going in for, especially if the Neymar to Real deal does go through.

Bent is pacy enough. He's not Aaron Lennon or Theo Walcott pacy but he's faster than 90% of the players in our squad.

Like Chris said - Soldado would be an interesting option. As would Llorente.

I'd everywhere if we signed Higuian.

I think we need to give Carroll a proper chance first, he had a decent record at Newcastle (1 in 2) and has all the tools to be a good striker. IMO we just need to give him opportunities and get the team linking up with him and he could do the job. We bought him for the long term so I don't think he'll be leaving anytime soon.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I agree, against teams we should be stuffing at home, even if that means benching Suarez.

i doubt very much we will be spending millions on another striker unless carroll is shipped out

I think the thing about Carroll is he has no pace, and IMO he needs players like Suarez putting things on a plate for him to be able to score, I think our buys in the summer were all building the squad around Carroll and it hasn't seemed to have worked.

You'd bench Suarez who is more often than not our main attacking outlet and play Carroll instead, Im all for Carroll but that is ridiculous.

I think we have room for another striker in the squad.

Bellamy and Kuyt usually play wide. Suarez plays everywhere which leaves Carroll as our only true striker really.

Definitely room for an out and out striker in our squad.

                          Get him in.

I don't think so, would cost a bomb though.

Pato would be in my top 5 if i could choose anyone, little bit injury prone though, and another crock is something we don't need.
