Incidentally, I've just noticed while checking the highest signatured petitions that the Sun source disclosure petition closed today. 40,000.

It means 3 of the 12 most popular petitions are revolve around Hillsborough.

Good momentum today then - very good indeed. But it's still quite sad that we're scraping around for signatures. Let's hope tomorrow carries on where today left off.

I still can't understand why the petition only had 19,000 signatures a week ago? If the push had started just a few days sooner then we would be there now. Fingers crossed the target is reached before the deadline tomorrow, a few high profile Twitterers could make a huge difference on the home straight.

I'm hoping someone at the club will be in the office before 9.00am tomorrow when I start work. Need to give them a call and get whoever administers the facebook page to post it again for anyone who missed the last post.

I reckon tomorrow will see the high profile guys put it in the spotlight, much like today. I think we'll do it.

That's what I wanted to see before I went to bed. Starting to think this is actually going to make it!

I don't know why I'm following Boy George, but I asked him to tweet/RT and he has! :-) Only just over 16,000 signatures required now.

Its at around 88,000 now. Its a hell of an achievement. Especially how far out it was 2 days ago.
                        *Except Michael, who died.

Would be an incredible feat if we manage it, it was stuck on 5,000 for ****ing ages.

Outstanding effort from all concerned especially Tony Evans who never stopped plugging it above everything else that was going on at the time even though it was stuck on a derisory 5k. I'd have given up. Good luck Anne.
