We'll be tempting fate if we line up with two CM's against City.

Downing and Henderson gives us strength in depth. That's the most important team.
        Are we winning?

Maybe, but they're better than us and if we try to match them up - IMO - they'd do us anyway. Might as well stick with what works for us and have a go at them.

Useless! Beaten even by a poor looking Liverpool same story with Arsenal the other week! Haven't seen us this bad concessively for a while.

              Haha, stupid Chelsea

Nice to see Torres smiling and enjoying the win today, haven't seen him like that since he scored that brace against them last season...

brilliant win today - still have that 20 minutes spell at the start of the 2nd half where we switch off but great first half and great to see us pushing and getting our rewards with the Johnson goal

Everyone today I thought really put a shift in and worked damn hard as a team, we completely deserved the win today!

I'm actually quite glad now that Chelsea got their goal. After nearly all our victories this year there has always been someone saying 'but X were ****, we'll never get an easier game etc'. For some games there might have even been an element of truth to it (WBA were really **** ). But Chelsea found their stride, got their goal and we were still able to change things and go on and get the winner.

We should take a lot of confidence from this performance.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

                            Why Poor me

Kenny made the changes I moaned about for weeks. He put out players that could press all over the pitch and he benched Carra.

Could be a very historic day today. Today could be the end of the Carragher era. I can't see him ever getting his starting place back if Agger and Skrtel stay fit.

Kenny benched Henderson and played Kuyt
Kenny benched Downing and played Maxi
Kenny benched Carroll and played Bellamy

He should listen to me more often.

from now on I will skip talking about our finances. That is a promise and will save myself from looking like a

it's just something we've seemed to do all season, but you're right letting a side back into it then going on and winning it should give us some good confidence moving forwards.

Really, really good performance from the lads today.

You said we'd get battered if it was Adam and Lucas up against their 3 central midfielders!

Hahaha! It was only last week you were saying Kenny didnt have the balls to drop Carra because "he is Carra".
