Don't believe that I said the following about Shevchenko and I quote -

"was ****e, is ****e and always will be ****e. NO WAY is he good enough for X Football Club, not in a million years!"

Would it kill you to actually read a comment in context and get the gist of a conversation first?

Yer mate course it is, but -

"Bellamy was ****e, is ****e and always will be ****e. NO WAY is he good enough for Liverpool Football Club, not in a million years!"

Isn't about his performances so far it's writing off his entire future at the club, which is silly because he's played all of about 8 games.

You might want to say his 8 performances so far have been ****e (which is incorrect as well) but might actually hold more water than 'always will be ****e' - which he obviously isn't.

Whatever happened to supporting your own players?

Surely you can see that ?

Morientes was initially seen as the target man, great with his back to goal, the ability to link with the midfield, score goals etc etc, basically Kuyt is everything we hoped Morientes would be.

After Rafa had decided to get rid of Cisse, it was pretty clear he wanted a lively, pacey alternative, capable of stretching the play and working the flanks.

Bellamy's not good enough, never has been and unfortunately (although I hope to be proved otherwise) I doubt he ever will be.
And as for this, you saying a player is a replacement for another purely picking on a particular characteristic. Apart from pace Bellamy is nothing like Cisse - which is a good thing! As Al said it's not about replacements is it it's about combined performances, if our forward line this season gets a higher total than the season before, then it was good business.

Oh and Bellamy will get more than 9 league goals if he's given the same playing time that Cisse was given. And Kuyt will most definately get more than Cisse in the league, so I we will have to wait till the end of the season on that one.

Guess you don't remember him from KT then It's just
"the correct decision would have been a penalty for us a red card for Gattuso and a yellow for Stevie"

          LF Clove aka AFII 11/10/07

"i personally hold you and several other gob****es responsible for the chaos this club is in"

You seem to change your view, depending on the player.

You've stated that people should be entitled a season to settle in, yet apparently it doesnt apply to Shevchenko, who you already seem keen to judge as a flop in the Premiership.

Whichever way you dress it up, that's what you're putting across.

He may not do, as it may take him longer to settle than we'd like.

You're not seriously denying that he's talented though, surely?

Well, I certainly don't agree with some that think he's "outstanding" - possibly the biggest misuse of a superlative I've heard in a long time. I genuinely think he's an average player who is at a club/league above his abilities. More to the point I hate the little **** and always have. I'm afraid I can't suddenly love him just because he's signed for LFC.

                  Absolute drivel mate:

Of Shevchenko I said that just because he's been a quality footballer in Italy, doesn't necessarily mean he will make it over here. Never said anything about denying him the opportunity to prove himself. All I said was that so far he hasn't done anything to prove he will make it over here, but I never said he definitely won't. I just have a feeling that he won't make it over here for a number of reasons.

Of Bellamy, I would argue in the comparitive matches I've seen that he does a lot more work than Schevchenko and also has an equal scoring record I think, and he cost 6mil not 30mil. Now I'm not saying Bellamy is a better striker than Schevchenko - stats show he obviously isn't, but he may be suited to the English game better and both should be given the chance to see what they can do over a season in their new clubs.

Now this time try and actually read what I said.
