4 points from Chelsea and City is a bloody good haul and I'd have been happy before the two games getting that amount from these games especially as quite a few didn't think we'd get one.Originally posted by cream View PostWe can't afford draws anymore. We have to start taking the points.
Unlucky today but it's a good platform to move forwards and improve

He'd be perfect but cannot see Napoli selling him in January (unless Cityh is interested) as they need him to make a push to the top 4 in (they are currently 5 points behind 4th team and 6 points behind Lazio currently 3rd) Serie A. I can see them letting go Lavezzi, if they are presented with the right offer.Originally posted by Tee View PostTime to reunite Suarez with Cavani at club level. Come on JWH, make it happen. Luis is the future and we need to build the team around him.
I cannot see us getting two quality players. Striker yes and possibly a younger winger type of a player like BoudebouzOriginally posted by acdmackay View PostThe performance today made me think we may not need to spend so heavily in January, I would say one huge marquee signing. A striker and possibly a tricky playmaker (Similar to Silva or Mata) if we can afford it.

Cavani would be more than ideal.

We've got a on paper good run in to the league. If we can stay 3 points behind or better until Feb/March then we're sitting nicely.
I don't think Newcastle will stay there either but Spurs are on a good run, Chelsea shouldn't be written off and RVP fc are level with us, going to take a good run from us to do it and unbeaten in 10 now seems to say we're doing something right, we just need to be more clinical as said numerous times before and just wish we had a few more points from previous games where we should have done better, they could be what the difference is at the end

That is good, contrary to that though 3 points from Swansea, Sunderland and Norwich at home is ****.Originally posted by rcasemore View Post4 points from Chelsea and City is a bloody good haul and I'd have been happy before the two games getting that amount from these games especially as quite a few didn't think we'd get one.

Before the game, I would have been alright with a point given our home form to date. That said, disappointed we didn't get all 3 today. Hart is a bloody good keeper.I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.

If we continue to play like we did in last 2 games we should be fine.
We have 6 very much winnable games in December ( Fulham, QPR, Villa, Wigan, Blackburn and Newcastle) and we should be able to finish the first half of the season on the high.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

I said before the City and Chelsea game that we "must win" at least one of them, we beat Chelsea and picked up a point against the unbeaten league leaders who have spent hundreds of millions.
I'm proud of every single one of the team and the manager, we've done more than turn a corner from last season, we are a million miles ahead. The team is beginning to click more and more and we are playing good football.
Our decision making needs to improve slightly but besides that we are on the up.
The times they are a changin'.

The way we play isn't the problem, it's putting the ball in the back the net.Originally posted by Mostar View PostAbsolutely.
