Not specific to this game, but he's not good enough. Some people are valiantly sticking to the 'give him a chance, he may come good' line but I suspect they know it's just wishful thinking. We bought a lemon for a supercar price and made one of the biggest transfer **** ups in the history of football. Which is a shame.Last edited by Kenneth; 05-12-11, 11:43 PM.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

on the plus side, he likes to **** and drink. its about the only trait left in footballers they share with their predecessors.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostNit specific to this game, but he's not good enough. His reputation goes before himOriginally posted by Zapater View PostThe bit that maybe got me the most (excluding the obvious) was when Dempsey tried it on with Bellamy, and he didn't retaliate but the referee decides to book both of them. How does that work out?
Same thing is happening with Suarez and the 'diver' tag

I think we are 1-1 in that department. We sold one and bought one and made 15m in the process and we should still be able to sell him in summer for at least 15 to 20m.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostNit specific to this game, but he's not good enough. He's just too expensive option to be sitting on the bench and to me the problem with Carroll is that though the skill level will improve over time, as he starts to mature, he doesn't have in his arsenal enough ammunition to ever be the clinical finisher that we need.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

Yep, he actually tried to calm the issue by not reacting and got booked for it. Can't help feeling if you play Carroll, you must play Downing to try and supply him. Also little point playing Downing without a target to hit.
Thought downing was really unlucky with that run and shot. it just won't happen for him.
lets hope we hit 12 past QPR.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

Well Kenny played Bellamy on the right but there is no point as he is too fast for Carroll and had to wait for him make his way into the box.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostCan't help feeling if you play Carroll, you must play Downing to try and supply him. Not sure that presence of Downing from early on would make any significant difference.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club
