The same picture in this thread? if so then the person who took the picture of the tv has conviently missed the the passer (i think enrique) and the actual moment the ball was passed so for all we know that still frame was taken before enrique released the ball

TBH Craig,
even with that shot he's more ahead of Senderos, which is technically offside.
Forget the old daylight between attacker and defender throwback.....any part of the body which he can score with (and especially given Senderos is more slighted to his left) which is ahead of the last defender counts him as off.
Its a tight one, and one you'd like to see a ref give the advantage to the forward, but for me, its a close decision that went against us, nothing more.

I thought he wasn't offside last night but the 1st picture doesn't really prove anything but this picture proves he was onside although the linesman was wrong I can see how he did gave it the dick, split seconds and all that bollocks

Fair play - just watched that now. I was under the impression that was technically a hand ball. I just remember Kuyt playing for Holland years ago, and he did this incredible bit of control where he took the ball on the fly and chested it for himself to run onto - it was Zidane-esq! But the ref thought it had hit his shoulder (it didn't) and gave a foul against him.

However, even without those two decisions, the ref and linos had an appalling game. Senderos should have been off, Dempsey could easily have been red-carded, Bellamy shouldn't have been booked, Suarez could rightly have had a penalty, and there were so many wrong calls on less significant decisions.
