I still like City, as long as they continue to annoy manure.

Saying that they're not half over-rated, a good half-season and everyone's calling them champions elect. Personally I can see us going above them by the end of the season if we start putting away our chances.

Not true, 80% of City fans are pricks, especially the new ones who have supported them since the arabs took over, At Anfield they was disgusting, throwing bottles at the Liverpool fans next to them, disrupting the minutes silence for Gary Speed ect

Never found City fans to be that bad on the whole, sure they're a bit more vocal than they used to be but you can't blame them. They took a huge support down with them to the 3rd tier not so long ago. Sooner them than Chelsea.

I agree with you but we won't play like that.
Downing will play to track Richards, Kuyt to do the same on Clichy and we'll play 3 v 3 in centre midfield.
We'll be the same as Arsenal away, boring, keeping the ball but with limited ambition, plan to stay in the game then hit them on the break as they commit more players into attacks as the game enters the last 20 mins or so.
This is another game that will show up Spearing as not good enough and prove to those who haven't admitted it yet just how big a loss Lucas is.

If it wasn't for Spearing, Gerrard wouldn't have scored the 3rd killer goal against Newcastle. He seems to be growing in confidence to make these passes instead of opting for the Henderson-style 'safe' ones in midfield.

Tiote and Cabaye, two coveted battlers, were also kept quiet all game.

Not as good as Lucas obviously but Silva's not as good as Silva nowadays either.

Spearing needs to stay on his feet, that's the thing that Lucas does so well in being able to win back possession by using his body. I love a good sliding tackle, but can't take the risk in these games as red cards are now flying around for very little.

His sliding does make me wince, unfortunately he's picked that up from his idol...Gerrard who used to do that quite a lot in his younger days. Hopefully that red card and close one against Cabaye will bring that to a halt.
