I think Gerrard would have been pencilled in for a 60 minute run out against Oldham.

I don't think it's particularly to do rest in between games, more building Gerrard up gradually to match fitness.

I'd agree with that reasoning for Bellamy; perhaps they'll look to get 65/70 minutes out of Bellamy today and rest him for the Oldham game completely.
