I really don't think there's any need for him to quote some scummy teenage kid ("I hope your wife gets raped") with about 4 followers on Twitter as though it somehow represents all Liverpool fans. Pretty ****ing low if you ask me.

I think now would be a good time for the club, and Suarez to re-iterate its stance on racism, and associate it to the Suarez event. A connection clearly will be made between the 2 incidents. The club (and Suarez) have to say that the stance on the Suarez incident was taken based on the facts of this individual case, but that if any supporters use this stance as a platform to in anyway air racist views or beliefs then the club will act swiftly to distance itself from these individuals and act with the local police to prosecute them as far as the law will allow. Racism cannot be tolerated, and we should expect better of any supporter of LFC.

Collective lack of wisdom from the crowd to boo the Oldham player. Completely crackers in fact.

But he hasn't. He said our response gave confidence to the likes of him.

There's no need or Suarez to get involved at all IMO, this I 100% a club matter, we should investigate and ban the culprits for life, showing a zero tolerance stance on racism

on my opticians behalf can i say that i think i missed it because i was a bit bored with the game and also the man next to me was distracting me with amusing comments on the lack of leg room available in the paddock. when i looked back up there was a stoppage of sorts.

The absolute cunt is being asked some searching questions on twitter re his relationship with Terry, and his views on racism, and he can't give credible answers to them - when he bothers answering at all, so he's probably in a very vindictive mood and can't wait to get in there to do some damage.

Whatever they thought was going on, I can't think of any good reason (or even understandable reason) to boo him.

I don't know, you see players getting boo'd for "faking" injuries, theyvmaybhve thought he was just having a go at someone in the crowd, I've seen players boo'd for doing that before

Nightmare scenario...especially considering what's gone on re Suarez.... The worry is the lads reaction..it happened right in front of us (lower centenary , kop end in line with 18yard line) so no way of knowing what happened but the poor lad was clearly upset and I feel him and we all naturally fear the worst...no one would react like the if it wasn't something really bad....also didnt like the way he was booed following it, felt really low and gutted about it all at that point
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

One bellend. If you saw his timeline it was full of bile anyway, I hardly think he needed the club's response to give him 'confidence' to engage in that sort of ****, and Holt giving it a national platform is totally unnecessary, unhelpful and unfair in my view. There's been ****loads of fair-minded, reasoned debate on there but journalists like Ollie Holt mostly seem to want to highlight only the bile.

Apart from the baseless conjecture and blatant misinformation?

'When you defend racist language' - Apart from the fact that the report only found Suarez guilty of abusive language anyway(and found him to not be racist), at no point did Kenny or the club 'defend racist language'. They simply defended their player, who they believe to not have used racist language, and, despite what the report might say, argued that there was no evidence that Suarez had said anything abusive at all.

'Maybe they will deny that Adeyemi was abused, too.' - Insinuating that Suarez definitely racially abused Evra despite any legitimate evidence.

'English football is desperate to put the Luis Suarez Affair behind it, but such is the bitterness and resentment that has grown up around the issue, it may take a lot longer than we think.' - If they're so desperate to put it behind them, do your part and stop writing incendary articles about it every other day.

And all this from the man who isn't sure "black cunt" is a racist phrase, but who already knows that Adeyemi was racially abused.

He didn't say they are representative of Liverpool fans. He says the club's response to this case has empowered this kind of lowlife, and in my view I think that's correct.

This is a monster of our own making.

The FA punishment should not have been so extreme, but nor should LFC's response and that is all that LFC had any control of.

Mob rules though isn't it. That's where this issue is a nightmare, we are expecting cultural and racial sensitivity from a crowd of 40,000 who are seen to act as one. The individual is not responsible when they can hide amongst the mob. As was previously posted though this is the worst possible start to life at Anfield on the back of a totally debilitating race related incident played to the country via the national media.

All really distracting and not really what you want to be left talking about after a game (again!)
