on my opticians behalf can i say that i think i missed it because i was a bit bored with the game and also the man next to me was distracting me with amusing comments on the lack of leg room available in the paddock. when i looked back up there was a stoppage of sorts.

Nobody by me (MB) knew exactly what had gone on.

Ok fair points on the "defend racist language" thing, but I do agree with the underlying point he is making. Our response was so hamfisted and histrionic that we have given succour to the nobheads.

It was a nuanced case that required a sensitive, more delicate response. LFC could have chosen that and diffused the wider explosiveness. But what happened was the opposite.

Another thing I'm pretty confident that's what ever happened will come out and the police will catch the cunt... I know for a fact the police have every inch of the ground covered by CCTV...I know this because I know a now retired senior ranking policeman who was the head of match day control and for a laugh he used to find me and my mates using the cameras and show us some ****ing funny pictures of us in the crowd...they will be able to pinpoint the exact area and break it down and work exactly who everyone is and take it from there

yet Holt doesn't speak for Liverpool Football Club, and Liverpool Football Club does. Getting our house in order is our job. And part of that is making sure that we don't leave the club wide open for this sort of criticism. Because as it stands even to a Liverpool fan like me, I read the criticism and it seems justified.

Personally I think its out of order. Fine that something bad has happened, but I think this is unnecessary.
