Fan incident during Oldham game

i was clear in my letter to oldham that i don't know what's been said, or whether it was racist, but that racism has no place among our support.

how are those letters coming btw? anybody else written any?

i sent one, basically saying don't let one scumbag tarnish all true liverpool fans.

No, i am not looking for attention, it's an opinion, as there is nothing to base any proof off, all this is now, is about opinions, i honestly think he has seen everything that has gone on with Evra/Suarez and thought he can do the same, i mean why would you cry over something racist said from a fan who it would be incredibly hard to hear?

My recollection is that the booing happened before the challenge on Flanagan.

That's what the video seems to show, assuming it hasn't been edited to make it appear even worse than it was.

Ok I didn't realise that, I only noticed it after the Flanagan foul.

I don't know how many people were booing or where they were in the ground. I would imagine though that the majority of people in the ground (who were booing) didn't know what had gone on, presumably they just saw his reaction which would have looked like him giving grief/stick/whatever to the crowd. It obviously looks bad when you know what has allegedly happened, I think that if the crowd had known what had (allegedly) happened I don't think there would have been the same reaction.

being white i'm lucky the chance of getting something racist said to me probably won't happen,as for hearing what was said from the so called fan its not impossible.

It's not impossible, but it would be very hard, considering how far the fan looked, and in a full 40k stadium which was pretty noisy seems very hard. also why would the Liverpool fan need to be racist? there was other black players for them out their, why him? also why would they be abusing him when he did nothing wrong? especially considering everything that has just happened? as i said, its a PERSONAL OPINION, that i believe he is attention seeking.
