Going by his 'confirmation', Taylor appears to be claiming to be a witness to this incident. Plus he appears to be having trouble with the fact that this too is being handled by the police.Originally posted by Lecter View PostNeilSinclair67Neil Sinclair

I took that Gordon Taylor quote to be a pisstake - as in, he didnt really say it, people are just mocking how stupid he is, by pretending he said it...he didnt actually say it did he..?Originally posted by Lecter View PostNeilSinclair67Neil Sinclair

Maybe they are saying Taylor confirmed the lad was racially abused, but won't confirm Ferdinand was ? Yet both are police investigations.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostI took that Gordon Taylor quote to be a pisstake - as in, he didnt really say it, people are just mocking how stupid he is, by pretending he said it...he didnt actually say it did he..?

Just consider the relationships between whites and blacks over the last 500 years and you might approach an answer to your own question.
Aren't you South African Nick? I figured you'd have a bit more insight into such issues that many on here.

Taylor insists Adeyemi will continue to assist Merseyside police with their investigation after giving a full witness statement.
He said: "We can confirm that he was the victim of racist abuse towards the end of the Liverpool v Oldham FA Cup tie last Friday evening.
"This abuse came from a spectator sitting in the Kop section of the ground. Tom has given a full witness statement to the Merseyside police regarding the incident and will continue to assist the police fully in their enquiries."

Good stuff from Barnes.Originally posted by Shaggy View Post
Do you think someone has bet him to bring DNA into it, whatever the subject under discussion?.
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Not suggesting that the lad was lying, but it's good to see Taylor concluding and establishing guilt, when the police havent confirmed it themselves or charged the suspect.
