if kompanys tackle was a red then johnsons was definitely a red.

thought carroll was pretty poor again. his touch was bad, his, his link up play was non existant and he just didnt make any sort of a meaningful contribution.

It was, but there's nothing wrong with the Kompany challenge. Johnson won the ball, if he didn't there could have been issues, but he did, so it's inconsequential.

Thought Johnson was quality today, in all 3 positions. He was running hard at the end too, pressing up the pitch when everyone else was ****ed. Showed a lot of character.

Doesn't it come down to neither of them being a red. Ball won, no contact with the player, no harm done.

Its good having someone we can trust on the penalty spot now. The pressure just doesn't seem to affect Stevie.

True, but I hope that the FA don't do anything about it

                  Defensive Midfield is absolutely vital

we just won away against mega rich Cityh and I cannot understand who anybody is not happy with that.

Sure performance wasn't the most inspiring but too many times we played better and we couldn't come up with the win.

This was huge and we have to start looking a bigger picture.

We finally have a genuine chance to get some silverware this year..

                        Serious question.

Can Glenn still get retrospectively done for that tackle?

Lee Mason didn't act on it?

I think Glen's was more dangerous tbh, with both legs together and straight so we'd struggle to complain if it was given. Anyway, Johnson was great today.

Glen won't get done for that not a chance.

                            Was a fantastic challenge

I thought he was very good today especially defensively.

Got away with "red" card today but he played his heart out.

                                I'm encouraged
he needs to be stronger, more explosive, more clinical, more intelligent in terms of his timing, his runs and his positioning and more aware of where his team mates will play the ball. basically there isn't anything he doesn't need to improve on. rant over.
