No i don't think so (thankfully).
    We come not to play.

Sure performance wasn't the most inspiring but too many times we played better and we couldn't come up with the win.

This was huge and we have to start looking a bigger picture.

We finally have a genuine chance to get some silverware this year..

The ref saw the tackle so I guess there's little the FA can do, unless they change their rules, since it's LFC, which they probably will.

Great first half, very very good. Second was all about not conceding, which is ok.

I think it basically depends on what the FA says, if he saw it and didn't think it was a foul, nothing happens. If he didn't see it he can get punished retrospectively.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

            It's us.

The FA will ban GJ for 8 games...

It depends whether the ref mentions in his report that he saw it and decided it was fair. Then he has dealt with it at the time. If he doesn't mention it the FA can act

                I think not.

Mason saw the challenge and let it go on without even a foul.

I cannot see how he can be reprimanded now.

it was a dangerous tackle but hopefully nothing comes of it. we need to finish the job in two weeks time.

Have to say I'm with Matt on the Carroll issue. Why oh why keep a man on the pitch for 90+ minutes only to defend set-pieces against us?

                    Delighted with the rest though

Have they got Spurs a few days before the second leg? They look really leggy to me and think they'll struggle massively with a high tempo at Anfield.

Who else was going to play upfront against all of City's defense?

It's an obvious thing to say, but they really missed Kompany, Yaya and Silva.

I thought he did ok in the first half, in the second half we had to attacking intent, so he was left isolated and basically did nothing for 45mins.
