I hardly watch a game of football where one side or the other doesn't get a bit of luck tbh.
I'm a bit gutted really, i'd would have liked to see Hendersons shot go in, don't know if Hart would have saved it, looked as though Henderson intended to place it, nice if it had gone in, but getting into that position had Richards scrambling to block the shot... so we sort of made our own luck.
But over the two games, tactically we were set up to get to the final, and we did just that.

He should have taken the same stand as his goalkeeper and admit the defeat was warranted.Originally posted by dww View PostHe's right about the pens though.
Penalties are open for discussion but the fact remains that we had almost 5 times more goal scoring chances, more shots on the goal, more corner kicks, more ball control and rightfully without any doubt deserved to get to the final.
He didn't say anything about that the classless cunt.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

We absolutely deserved the win, we were by far the more positive team. Joe Hart is an outstanding keeper, without his quality tonight we would have battered City. In the end we were the better side over the two legs. They might have a few more fancy players, but at the end of the day we worked harder and created far more chances. We are in the final on merit.

Jesus at one stage i was thinking of what a travisty it would be if we did not go through based on how much attacking intent we had over the course of two games ... we went into double figures on the corner count and there was like 25 minutes still to play ... a telling stat to there 1 or perhaps 2 corners and man if it was not for Joe Hart it would have been 5 Nill ....Originally posted by TheElephantMan View PostWe absolutely deserved the win, we were by far the more positive team. At the very least we need our players to put in a massive shift .. that should be the minimum req to remain a player at the club let alone make the first 11, we are playing catch up big time we cant carry anyone ... we as fans ... great fans deserve that and a club of our standing requires players who realize what a privilege it is to play for this wonderful club.
Bellamy Gerrard, Kuyt, Carra, Pepe these are the kind of players Mentally we need and I would put Suarez in that group as well not only is is sublimely skillful, he has the need to win burning brightly within him, competitive people will recognize it immediately, he just has to win, be on the winning side, be at the winning club, a few more players in our squad need to ****ing wake up, smell the coffee, start putting a shift in, start performing to at least a 7 out of 10 week in week out and help us put this club back were it belongs and thats top of the LeagueAnybody who criticizes Klopp ever is a James Blunt. Kenny and Bellamy's hug at the end had me punching the air as much as the second goal - seriously uplifting for fans to have a guy like Bellamy bursting with LFC passion and to see the massive respect Kenny has for him. And vice versa obviously. ****in rock smilie won't work on phoneFelching ≠ Gerbilling
