4 wins isn't good enough you're right, shows we must be doing something right though to still only being 4 points off 4th though.

It's not all deep crosses though is it.

True but we are better set up away( as long as we don't out in a Wigan / Bolton type away performance) my worry is next 2 at home are teams we usually draw with, gooners past couple years and Wigan, 8% chance conversion worst in premiership......not even 1 in 10 at the mo..... And great player and all but that was yet another sitter from Suarez at the end, unbelievable

I'm sure he just wasn't thinking, and was a bit upset at not starting maybe, if the above happened of course.

Made things happen when he came on though, but we need him to hit the back of the net.
        Was probably just frustration.

          ITS YOUR JOB!!!!!!
I hate Downing, but all things considering (being the first half a season) this was a marked improvement from Stewie. He ran at his man on several occasions at top speed, he came nowhere close to beating him, but at least he tried. He also took on a shot, he should've passed it, but at least he had a pop. He attempted to take a pass in space and knock it passed the defender too but the ball trickled out.

He's nowhere near good enough nor does he have the mentality, but considering what he's done for us thus far today he actually had a bit of a go.

this set of players should be more than capable of creating proper chances. the pressure is telling on some of them and thus the poor choice of final ball. we need to get this monkey off our back. its why utd always end up at the top, they don't panic and know the chances will come.

were up against spurs. they came with two out and out defensive midfield players and were looking for a point. the games against the top teams can go either way so its the other games that weve drawn.

were bottom of the chance conversion table. oh my god

Carroll looked far better tonight. If he keeps improving he could be the one banging them in for us to get into the CL place. Even Gary Neville was singing his praises!

We clearly need more creativity though. But there were small signs that Suarez and Carroll might be able to link up well in the run in. Maybe, just maybe, if they can forge a partnership, backed up by Gerrard and Bellamy, we can nick that 4th spot because 8.92% chance conversion - the worst in the league - is where the problem ultimately is. If we'd have beaten Norwich and Blackburn at Anfield, we'd be level on points with Chelsea.

Few names have been mentioned already but in addition to AM/Winger we need a striker like Cavani that is proven goal scorer.

We need a player that can convert better than 1 in 3 etc.

Get him and get Hazard/Goetze/Raus and with Lucas back we should have enough to challenge for the very top.

That's a fair observation, just like bale should have gone for the dive / push, I'm not having a pop at him! Just stating an opinion on his challenge.

It's not all deep crosses though is it.
I never said they were all deep, but it is incredibly one dimensional and makes us very easy to defend against.

Chelsea are terrible though, we are lucky there are because otherwise the CL would be a near impossibility.

I thought we were the better side we dominated the game but didn't create enough chances, and didn't take the ones we did. Same old story really
