I'd play Bellamy up top with Carroll at Utd. Use his pace to get on the end of carrolls flicks. he ****ing wasted on the left. didn't even get a chance to shoot today.

play downing to occupy evra like in the cup game. if enrique isn't back johnson will struggle against valencia.

I'd play Henderson instead of dirk.

we must make sure any signings this summer have pace to burn, first and foremost. we must be the slowest side in the top flight.

I'd be more than happy with two cup finals. we're not good enough to be in the champions league.

        Yeah, good point, that too.

They're not great at all and we do need to take more of our chances but we're still in with a good shout and from memory we've a pretty decent run in.

Get on a run of 4/5 wins and we'll be looking good, obviously so far we've not managed that but I really do think we're capable of doing so game 1 starts at OT on Saturday
I'd love us to get one a 4/5 game run, I just don't feel we have it in us right now.
I have more confidence in us winning at OT than going on a winning streak.

For all our hard work, we lack creativity coming from out wide, Bellamy has provided that lately but he came up against a really good defender in Walker. Really frustrating and it was there for us to win with that Suarez chance, sums out season up.

Dalglish says #LFC in better position than this time last year. 7th w/ 39pts compared to 6th w/ 38 in 10/11 plus still in two cup comps

I think the attacking play starts with the right pass from midfield. thats where I think were missing something. jay is good at what he does in terms of stopping the opponents but he cant pass the ball more than ten yards and always sideways.

gerrard needs to be released with the right ball so he can cause havoc because he isnt like modric where he can twist and turn on a sixpence. he needs space to do his stuff but the passes into him have to be the right ones.

Anyone think we'd have won if Luis had started, or was it just one of those nights that had 0-0 written all over it ?

He looked rusty so was the right call. Dont think it'd have made much/any difference.

Think it was just a 0-0 night, Luis would probably have struggled to make a difference from the start anyway.

                          honestly? I don't know.

He's very hard to play with as you never know what he's going to do.

If he could be trusted to do a little bit of a defensive job ala dirk I'd play him right of carroll with bellamy on the left, in a 3 becoming two when required. I wouldn't want either luis or bellamy hugging the touchline. he played similar at times for ajax.

He hasn't scored enough pre the suspension to warrant being a 100% starter for me. he is our most skillful player, ability wise but he tries to be too clever at times. he should be picked on form and that goes for the rest of them. play him back in and then hopefully he'll come good, the team clicks and we go on a run.

But I think Kenny will play him and carroll as a two for most of the rest of the season. which will mean 442 like it or not. then we need to play downing and bellamy on their natural sides and go for it.

Might not be able to give us 90 mins at OT, not a usual high tempo 90mins anyway.

Wayne Rooney has claimed Luis Suarez should have been sent off to add more fuel to the fires that rage between Liverpool and Manchester United.
Liverpool striker Suarez was booked just five minutes after coming on as a second half substitute when he caught Tottenham’s Scott Parker in the midriff with a kick as he competed for a ball in a 0-0 draw at Anfield.
