    My view of the match:

Overall we played very well. We controlled the game against a very strong and well playing Spurs team, put them under pressure like we should at Anfield.

Carroll had another good game, hope he keeps building on it. Won a lot of arial challenges, layed off the ball well but still needs to control the ball at the feet a litlle better.

For me our backs where MOM's, played very well the whole game. Johnson had Bale stopped nicely and was one of the few players actually crossing a ball in the game for us. Same goes with Kelly, solid back and forth - very impressed with the young lad, hope he get's to play more.

The main problem yesterday was first and foremost our CM. I'm getting more and more convinced that Adam doesn't hold much future in this team. He is simply too slow on the ball to be a playmaker. He needs 2-3 touches every time before he makes a pass, and while a very good passer it helps little when our game have slowed down to much. That was the magic of Alonso, the ability to make great passes at a high pace. Spearing while a good fighter/tackler is just not good enough on the ball. To many touches and to many silly balls given away. He even seems to panick at times.

Secondly a lack of crosses from our wingers Kuyt and Bellamy. Partly explained by the first problem - it takes to long for the ball to get there and the defense is in position before a good crossing chance can be taken.

Otherwise Skrtel and Agger solid as ever Although Skrtel almost lost his head a couple of times, I was a bit worried at times during the match yesterday.

Great to see Suarez back, he will lift our play when fit Was a bit nervous tbh. about him getting a silly red for some reason. It just needed to go well, and it did

Oh yeah, and on Spurs - Parker is just a class players, I wish we signed him on the cheap from West Ham. He is just everywhere and a very good footballer. Other than that, not much to say about their performance other than they were boring as ****. They won't win the league with that mentality ever (not that I thought they would).

They were more concerned with us not getting 3 points than getting 3 for themselves. Basically they are playing for third nothing more. Dissapointed with the fact they never tried getting more than 4-5 players forward, and then they complain about not making enough chances

        Totally disagree

4 of our last 7 goals were not scored from crosses

Our problem isnt getting the ball wide and crossing it, its not crossing it well enough

Yet we still create plenty of chances to win games

Even yesterday when I thought we didnt create that much we had 2 easy chances to finish them off

That has been the story of the season

Creating good chances and missing them

The only thing we are failing to do is score goals

Sky highlighted our deficiences last night

We are in the top 2 or 3 in terms of creating clear cut chances

We are BOTTOM of the league in terms of converting those chances

We need a forward who converts chances, whether he plays with Suarez, Carroll, Bellamy or any combination of them I dont care

We need six yard box poacher, we wouldn't be screwing around outside the box all the time then. It would suit the players we have more too. Don't seem to be many around these days though.

Spurs could have won it, but we should have won it. 4 wins at home tells it's own story. Adam is a squad player, Downing likes being a big fish in a small pond and needs to be offloaded. Thought Spearing was good. AC Liverpool's man of the match, Parker their's. As to whether Suarez meant that karate kick, I believe he did. He's his own worst enemy

So frustrating to see Bellamy cut inside and not have an overlapping full-back in Glen Johnson. None of their faults, it's just the way they play.

Could've done with Downing on the left to hold some width and move Bellamy inside.

Spearing was terrible. Constantly misplaced passes and kept asking for the ball when he wasn't the best option. It's good to have that desire for the ball, he just needs to be a bit more intelligent.

Can I spare a thought for England's brave and heroic Scott Parker. He stood up tall and showed Suarez how tough and brave he is. A true hulk of a man. I hope someone famous nominates him for an honour. He deserves to be commended by the Queen for his bravery.

The way I've slated Terry and Oliver Holt, take a guess.

On another note, I think Adam did alright, kept things ticking along nicely. Gerrard didn't look right at times. There were moments when he should've ran to close down a Spurs player and didn't. Think he's feeling the effects of his leg strain and didn't want to push it too much.

i thought we played ok to wellish - we just lacked a little bit of class/composure in the final 3rd/with the final ball - time and time again we'd build up, create space, get the ball to say johnson/kuyt/adam/spearing/kelly/downing(when he was on) - and then it'd break down with a poor touch or final ball not being good enough

dissapointed with result because i thought they were there for the taking last night, and they were estatic to draw. - Drawing at home to spurs isn't the reason we won't finish 4th!

                                Which was easier:

1/ Carroll, half volley on the turn, on your wrong foot, 12 yards from goal.
2/ Suarez, free header from seven yards.

                                ?
