We've done nothing going forward, concede possession in the middle entirely and been bossed down our left for about half an hour, but apart from that, not too bad. But seriously, our CBs have done well, Johnson has been good. I think Henderson needs to take a few steps forward to let Gerrard play a bit.

And I know it's fashionable to slate Downing, but he deserves it. Done nothing positive at all. Get him off at HT.

He is terrible.

That's not completely true though. Johnson very nearly scored, we could have had another excellent opportunity if Kuyt hadn't miscontrolled a great pass from Gerrard, and Ferdinand had to risk a red if he'd missed that tackle on Suarez when he was through. Sure, Utd have had more play in our half, but I'm not quite sure what we expect at OT. I've seen us play an awful lot worse there.

Agree about the left side though. Downing has been useless.

GJ was very unlucky not to score. Skrtel and Agger are rock solid.

Midfield played ok but Luis (needs to calm down. He is too impulsive) is isolated too much.

Downing needs to be subbed right away.

Bring Bellamy in as Mancs are ready for taking.
