Downing out and Bellamy in for the second half. That would mean having 3 hard working guys up front with great movement.

Then save Carroll for later in the half.

Key to the second half is really to keep the ball better when we have it. We have defended well, but it's not enough against the scum I'm afraid. We need to be able to hold on to the ball and make them work for a bit.

The first line and the last bit, well, I don't know where you're coming from. The rest I agree.

I'm not sure I get what you want to see.

It is tight game as expected and it is not to be eye pleasing.

We had one very good chance and few decent attempts and we didn't conceive and we didn't play that bad overall.

That's not completely true though. Johnson very nearly scored, we could have had another excellent opportunity if Kuyt hadn't miscontrolled a great pass from Gerrard, and Ferdinand had to risk a red if he'd missed that tackle on Suarez when he was through. Sure, Utd have had more play in our half, but I'm not quite sure what we expect at OT. I've seen us play an awful lot worse there.

Agree about the left side though. Downing has been useless.
