    Yes, so what.

It is not like they threatened to drop us over a stupid thing like a handshake (which by the way is what the statement was regards too).

Selling Suarez would be stupid and spineless, especially as there is a good argument to suggest he has been mistreated.

As far as I can see SC have note put anything on their site regarding the incident so I don't think it is as made out.

Certainly not worthy of such a panicked of selling our best player.

We certainly don't make a great deal of money from the likes of Uraguay. Believing that Suarez is innocent has nothing to do with it, its not how the rest of the media see it and thats going to damage us on the commercial front immensely. There will be a lot of pressure to remove the damage from this season and I believe that will start with the sale of Suarez.

Whilst the rest of the world might not care too much, the money generated from the UK is our bread and butter and new sponsors will want the club cleaned up before giving their name in multimillion pound deals.

And just how out of curiousity do you know this?

Do you have any experience of major sponsorship deals? Do you know of similar incidents that you can compare this to? Do you have any idea at all what goes on behind closed doors at Anfield and know how they conduct their business?

PLease explain this immense commercial damage...
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

oh sorry I forgot, every opinion on here is backed up with a full list of facts and your posts always have an attached list of references

Its my opinion that the racism saga and how we managed it will have done a lot of damage, our current major sponsor felt that it needed to get involved at one stage and I would imagine thats not common practice.

Do you have any experience with all of the above to disagree? No, but I see you still have an opinion as have I.

          .
I haven’t said that I disagree or that I agree, I usually don’t voice such strong opinions on subjects I have no clue on.

They can do one if they don't like it anyway, and take their money with them.

Footballs got bad enough with Chairman sticking their noses into team selection and the like, god forbid we ever decide who we buy or sell based on our sponsors say so!

As Milan and Spurs have shown, a few very good attacking players can have you challenging for any trophy. We just need players like Mata, Silva, Modric, VDV, Bale, along with 1 natural goal scorer. That and a manager called Rafa...

                      This tbh.

I happen to think we have a very string squad which just lacks a bit of imagination. The kind that is brought by the top class attacking players.

Whilst we still need cover for Lucas, everywhere else I would say we have suitable cover, so for the first time in who knows how long we can concentrate in bringing in only the very highest quality of player in the summer.

If we sign the correct players we could actually win the league next season. But that's the part we always seem to **** up on.
                      Forwards.......
