    Cardiff fans:

I don't think any City fan will forget last September when Mikey was tragically killed outside the turnstiles at Wembley stadium and one thing is for sure Mikey will never be forgotten by his family and friends and everyone connected with our great club.

I had a call from Wayne Nash this afternoon, who informed me that an area has been set aside between two turnstiles at Wembley at the City end where fans can pay their respects, lay flowers, messages, flags, shirts etc.

The club will be stewarding the area and will take some of the flags and shirts that were laid in memory of Mikey outside the Ninian Park gates to Wembley and that our club will be laying a wreath and so will Liverpool FC.

On Sunday I will receive the exact details of what area has been designated and I will post more details when I receive them.

    RIP Mikey.

From the HJC on a Cardiff site:

Your link was posted on one of the Liverpool forums regarding mike

Liverpool supporters along with the hillsborough justice campaign have ordered a banner to mark both Liverpool and cardiffs battle against the sun newspaper

We have 20000 leaflets for the hillsbourough justice / dont buy the sun plus 5000 justice for mike dye leaflets that we will be handing out on the day and hopefully we can all hold them up during the game. The leaflets are A3 in size so can be seen from a distance

It's a great opportunity to show the world what both Liverpool and Cardiff think of the sun newspaper

We will be dropping 1000 justice leaflets at 5 pubs that have been allocated to Cardiff fans around Sudbury town and Wembley

Justice for the 96 and justice for Mike

        WEM-BER-LEE

I am still 'discussing' with my dad over who gets the ticket...I've text him this morning saying he can go this one......I'll have the FA Cup tickets instead

        Anyway -

great result for us, just what we wanted. And as it stands, virtually (lucas aside) a full strength team for the final - providing of course agger/bellamy are back which I expect them to be.

        for me....i'd like to see

        ------------------reina-------------------

        johnson-----skrtel-----agger----------enrique

        -------gerrard---spearing----adam

        suarez--------------------------------bellamy
        ------------------carroll-----------------

I'd argue that's our strongest line up - and we then have plenty of different options on the bench

        doni
        kelly
        carragher
        henderson
        downing
        maxi
        kuyt
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

I can't see how Cardiff would be able to live with that!

Think that would be the side for me as well.

So nervous already, this would mean a hell of a lot after 6 years without a trophy and some of the **** we've been through in between.

                      I'm worried as hell.

Looking forward to it immensly, but worried as hell.

Cardiff have been and lost how many times in recent years, 3 ? Just makes me fear them having all the luck, for once, and us playing like ****e.

It's odd really, i'm very confident we'll win, and at the same time fearing the worst.

Controversially, I'm going to state a case for Downing.

As much as Bellamy has saved us numerous times this season, my adage is you never drop a player who's in from or just found form. One game does not make a legend but he's got the bit between his teeth and is out to prove his price tag. He's also proved he can do it against lower league teams.

I'd rather have Downing play for the first 60 minutes, than bring him on for the last 30 minutes. My heart would sink if we were drawing/losing and all we had to look forward to from the bench was Downing. Bellamy coming on in the last 30 minutes on the other hand is a prospect a half-tired Cardiff will dread.
                        One tit for another.

Bellamy has got to start imo.

I like DKdan's team but I'm just not sure about putting Adam in. I'd be tempted to replace him with Spearing which will allow Gerrard to get forward, but other than that the team above is the one for me.

Just been looking at the Cardiff stats

Whittingham is the key man for them 10 goals and 11 assists this season. I think he plays central or just off the striker so we will need to be wary of him

Kenny Miller has 10 goals also

That was the one possible change you could argue making, someone like Whittingham could be a problem if allowed the space.

I know there is no room for sentiment in football, but robbing Bellamy of the last chance he might have of winning his first major trophy in England against his hometown club would be extremely harsh. Especially considering he has been our best player this year and deserves to start on merit.

                                If fit, he’ll start.

Edit: I know he'll still get a medal etc. even if he doesn't start or play fopr that matter, but he'll want to be in the starting line-up.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
