I've been to Wembley a few times to watch England. Just as a point of interest, go to North Wembley. There is a town centre there with a Nandos, Pizza Hut and a few pubs that will have the other football on. Its a 10 minuite walk to the stadium. Plus getting off at Wembley Park is a nightmare, loads of people and nothing to do apart from go to McDonalds. The only places to have a drink are the Hotels that set up outside bars for the fans.

North Wembley is the best place to be on match days, even going that way after the game is better. Hardly any people there at the tube station as there all at Park.
