I'd have to look back over the matches but I'm pretty sure the amount of chances we have created is far superior to most teams in the EPL. It is our attacking play that is creating those chances and that is very positive for me. We have had games where we dominate possession but not only are we doing that but we are also creating chances. How many times have we hit the post this season? We have to be more clinical and precise in finishing them off.

I don't think Henderson is strong enough to play centre mid at present, he lacks enough aggression and is defensively worse than Adam.Originally posted by acdmackay View PostI think Henderson should be playing in Adam's position alongside Gerrard with Lucas behind them when he is back. Adam just doesn't do enough and should be on the bench. Henderson looks a lot livelier in the centre.
He is best imo being used from the bench right now.

Barca and Madrid are not one man teams though, they are very good collectives. Every team have a player getting more focus than others but not quite the same. Arsenal though...Originally posted by danperkins View PostSeems to be working for Arsenal,Barca & Madrid so i wouldn't mind it

As good as (especially Luis' and Kelly's)......but only 4 shots on target should tell its own story.Originally posted by cream View PostDidn't see the game fully yesterday, were the chances we created as clear cut as he two Arsenal scored from?"I will make the boys feel your support"

The fact is - compared to Roy's side, we can pass the ball around and create chances. Unfortunately, we are wasting them. Now yesterday was frustrating, as many games of ours have been, but not depressing. Being played off the park would be depressing, we battered them but ended up losers. That's frustrating.

When you say *fully* Cream, what did you see?Originally posted by cream View PostDidn't see the game fully yesterday, were the chances we created as clear cut as he two Arsenal scored from?
Because I know you were on here pretty much straight away, ripping our performance to shreds and saying Kuyt's performance was "poor" off the top of my head.
Please tell me you weren't throwing opinions around on a game you didn't see ...

I saw parts of the first half and pretty much all of the second whilst doing my accounts at the same time, and yeah we still lost the game that we really should have won.Originally posted by Muddled View PostWhen you say *fully* Cream, what did you see?

And you dontOriginally posted by Mattshark View PostYou think that. I think the 2 chances were very different.
I personally think you are making excuses for our inadequate midfield. Oh and you need to learn the difference between fact and opinion.

Recently hasn't been so good but in the first half of the season we had very similar attacking performances to the Arsenal one. Loads of chances and nobody putting them away. That WAS typical of us this season. What isn't typical is when we create very little and that is not often.
