He was pretty solid alongside Nat when we played a bit deeper last season. Good in the air too.

If pace is a problem then he has no real future in our current system.

I think it is as much that he is not getting on the pitch at Swansea. (Had an injury and was the subject of racial abuse that not surprisingly knocked him back, and then just couldn't get back into the team.) I suspect we will lend him out somewhere again, even if Nat moves on.

After all, if we get injuries we can always play our midfielders in defence!
