Just read this article abt. Shawcross and tomorrows game (http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/...h-Luis-Suarez-), where he speaks of his respect for Suarez - and of how he maybe is diving....:
"Stoke defender Shawcross will be on his guard as his side compete for a place in the FA Cup semi-finals for a second successive year.
“If you know they’re going to go down then you have to be more careful,” he said. “So if you’re stupid enough to stick your leg out then they’ll go over it. As a defender you have to be a bit more clever and cute.
“It’s Suarez’s ability to beat people one-on-one and to get into the spaces that makes him so good.
“He has proven this season what a top-quality player he is. He would probably like a couple more goals, but those he has created for others and the way he links with Steven Gerrard makes him one of the best in the Premier League.
“If you put your toe in, though, it gives him the chance to go over. I don’t think he’s any worse than some other top players in the league – and no one mentions the amount of times he gets kicked.”
I really like his last paragraph - not worse that some other top players - and then the attention to how Suarez is treated and ignored!!
Let's hope these two will have a fair and intense match tomorrow - and that Stoke still will be heading home with no hope for Wembley.
