He never talks about finishing chances because he says we have hardly created any easy chances

He accused me of saying we miss tap ins

I never said that, I said we miss easy chances that other forwards would and do take

That really is the worrying bit. We are at a crossroads for sure. If we win the FA cup, it would be a good season in terms of trophies, but christ I just want to be winning leagues again. I just don't see it though without massive city like investment.

again, what the fukk is the point of having all these hugely promising youth players if there not even getting a sniff.
sterling, coady, suso to name but a few, in any other team would have made there full team debut's by now.

Can people stop talking about net ****ing spend? The fact that ÂŁ100m has been SPENT is the issue.

We had lots of crap that we managed to get a good price for. What if we gave them all away for free, would that make our purchases worse still?

No, they would be the same players which are ones for the future or squad players at best.

We need to buy players with the right mentality. Players with an indomitable spirit on the pitch. Someone with the passion like Gerrard or Souness.

Oh and players that can understand simple angles and how to run into space. Football isn't rocket science really.

The lack of passion has been prevailent for years against **** teams it was the same under Rafa, Roy, Houllier etc.. its always been a problem we can get up for games against big teams yet fold when we play lesser teams

I disagree regarding the brand of football I think its ok

The tactics side of things can be worked on (thats supposedly Clarkes & Keens remit isnt it) but Ferguson's tactics often look wayward yet his sides have so much ****ing firepower they invariably blow away the ****e by just standing toe to toe with them. For me there is a trade off between tactics and attacking play Rafa was a master tactician but at times we were very sterile under him and we lacked imagination at times - we had half decent finishers mind

Look how badly Fergie got raped by bilbao to show his deficiencies

Results its hard to argue with they have been poor
Some valid points there i agree.

I just don't where we go from here, it's a very frustrating and depressing time.

I not gutted or deflated like the majority here. Lec has hinted on it plenty of times...

Does anyone actually think we will score when we get a chance?

Before every game I think where are the goals gonna come from? I dunno

And Since Agger/Lucas have been injured? Can we stop anyone from Scoring? No

That Sums up our season and has been mentioned before Kenny does not have a transfer window to change things and must make do with what he has got.
I actually dont expect us to score and when we do I'm pleasantly surprised

However we are being exposed and exploited (probably because of Lucas being out) and more importantly we are making defensive errors in the back four

We have looked more shakey when Agger has gone and today we played most of the game without our first and second choice rightback

I do think Carra's time has come we should play Flanno at rightback (until Kelly or johnson return) and play Coates at centrehalf

In my view, we just lasck good enough footballers, game changers. Now whether Kenny has screwed up in buying over last summer or not, its hard to tell, simply because the difference this summer rather than previous years was that we didn't have to sell before we bought. We still only had a net spend of 40m and thats not near enough to get us where we want to be.
He spent 100 million simple as that, forget the net spent. He bought players for massive money that have massively under performed & and a manager can live or dies by their signings. We removed some medicore players and got some funds & Kenny was given money by FSG... unfortunately he just didn't buy very well.

Totally Agree the only other time I felt like this was 2004- 2005 Season when Cisse was injured and we had to rely on Baros

we as fans see things on the pitch that you would assume the manager sees but it seems he doesnt.
buying the players he bought to begin with was a massive mistake, the fans could see that carroll, downing and henderson were not what we needed.
then persisting with them when things are obviously not working, all of us could tell that adam, even when playing half decent was jaded after 60 minutes yet the manager persisted.
its these things that worry me about him, things i dont see improving.
we are paying the price for several poor signings that have been pretty much permanent starters all season.

we go onto the next game and try and win as many of the remaining games as we can. we put our all into winning the cup. we then ship a few out and spend some serious wedge on quality players in the summer. we then have more heartbreak next year..................... I sometimes wonder if its more fun supporting a team that is fighting relegation year after year. you don't expect to win games and when you do, it must feel immense. thats half the problem with us, you get up and then you get knocked down again. you can never be up for longer enough.
