And you might stand by it, but it's non the less almost impossible to find any team in that can keep an oppenent to less than 5 shots overall consistently, and that included the vast majority of Rafa's games. We where a better defensive team at the time for sure, but it's still not correct.
Couldn't find anything else, but I have a good memory. This should indicate that there was something to my point.

They are either unwilling/unable and the moment they conceed heads go down

      Agree with all of this.
I've been saying in the Spearing thread that he isn't anywhere near good enough, Carra (probably just) deserved to keep his place after Everton and Stoke but he isn't a right back and hasn't been for nearly 8 years, he was running in the wrong direction away from Taiwo who crossed for the 2nd goal when a proper right back would have been busting a gut to block the cross.

As for Enrique he has had a mistake in him every single week, not the brainless right foot swish but the fact he allows Mackie to be inside him, Enrique should have been inside with Mackie on his left shoulder so if he does miss the ball Mackie is forced wide not straight through on goal.

Also Hyypia got away with playing 5 yards deeper towards the end because he was so dominent in the air, Carra isn't strong in the air and now has no legs or pace anymore, time to move him on. Coates needs to play every game now

I can't believe people are defending the manager, yes the players fukked up, but it's kenny's team.
if the team are not strong enough, or have the mental capabilities to see out a game where they are 0-2 up against one of the worst teams in the league that is surely down to the preparation, poor management.
To many negatives about his management of the club for me, i do so want Kenny to succseed here but I cant see it, I really can't, I'd be surprised if anyone can.

It's about the club here, sentimentality shouldnt come into it, if there's a better more capable man out there and we miss out because we hadn't got it in us to let down the current manager we've fukked up.

Kenny hasn't been blameless but how is it his fault that we lose from 2-0 up with 12 minutes to go?
I questioned the team and tactics but we were 2 up with the usual loads of missed chances

Forget the missed chances, we were up by 2 against qpr and lost, that has to fall on the manager.
A better prepared team wouldn't let that happen, a team with a strong manager wouldn't let that happen.
The team out on the pitch is the managers, he picked it, he prepared it.

We're like Atletico madrid of the Prem. Some good results here and there, some good players, the ability to give the top sides a good game on the day but just don't have that consistency to take it to another level.

Your manager tells you to do a job, a job which you go and royally **** up - who's to blame? You for being inept, or your boss? This analogy is useless if you're still at school though.

Last night was not a one off though, we've been playing shyt all season, in that case the manager has to be held accountable.

Why no sterling, why no suso, why no coady.
Another shocking assessment of the season for me, not even a spot on the bench, in a carling cup game, nothing.

they would get bullied to **** in the premiership and for there brilliance they still make to many wrong decisions and give the ball away cheaply.....oh on second thoughts perfect for the first team

Rafa built his team with a spine, Kenny's is spineless at the moment. I know we haev Agger & Lucas out & they are part of that spine, but the fault is with the manager still. We have known for 6 years Agger will miss at least 25% of games, added to the fact that no back up DM for Lucas has been sourced (injured or not) is the fault of the manager. This should have been sorterd last summer, not spunking 50+mill on henderson, Adam & Downing.
