Swansea, Stoke, Wolves, Bolton, Blackburn must have lost 5/6 games in their last ten?
Last week, we were 19th in the form table for 2012. Wolves were bottom.

    Don't know about this week.

Every manager is **** when we're on a bad run.
      Are we winning?

I think we lack the personnel to change it.

Well, if Carroll was on form and playing to the best of his ability we would.

          ------- Carroll
          Maxi -- Suarez -- Kuyt

          On paper would work.

Two holding midfielders and a fully fit back five would certainly have the foundation to build on.

Yeah, we're 19th - joint with Stoke points wise looking at the last ten league games.

In a black and white world maybe.

With a bit of grey and taking into account performances, we're not ****.

The run of results is alarming though.

except in reality that formation would look like this in game time:

              ---Opposing Goal----

              ----Suarez -----

              Maxi ---------Kuyt

              Carroll-----------
              We come not to play.

we are in very real danger of becoming like villa a mid table team reminiscing about european cup wins when we make a challenge for finishing 6th

                    Kenny Dalglish post game comments.

Kenny Dalglish felt his side deserved more than a point from a game in which the woodwork and refereeing decisions again denied the Reds.

Aston Villa opened the scoring at Anfield through Chris Herd, but Luis Suarez levelled the game in the final 10 minutes.

Both Suarez and Dirk Kuyt hit the woodwork and both were denied what looked like penalties.

Dalglish reflected: "I thought they showed great character and commitment to come back. I thought it was a great effort from them.

"Aston Villa got a goal and that gave them something to hold on to, but the longer the game went on, the stronger we got and the more determined we got to get a goal.

"We did get a goal but I think we deserved more than that. Most of the things that are in our control we did our best to do them."

Asked about the refereeing decisions, Dalglish revealed his belief that Liverpool should have had at least one penalty.

Several appeals were waved away by Michael Oliver, including a foul by Alan Hutton on Suarez and an Eric Lichaj handball which obstructed Kuyt.

Dalglish was also frustrated that Suarez was booked for diving when replays showed he was clearly fouled by Stephen Ireland.

"What chance have we got?" he said.

"Even Suarez's booking, the guy trod on him.

"You can imagine the headlines tomorrow when he's been booked for diving but the guy's actually trodden on him. He's lucky he's not broke his foot.

"We just need to keep going. Maybe we're too polite! If we keep trying it'll turn."

The game was also notable for the return from a rib injury of substitute Daniel Agger, who replaced Jose Enrique midway through the second half.

"It's great to see everyone come back when they're injured," said Dalglish. "He came on and filled in at left-back and he'll be better for the 20 minutes or so he got in the game."

                        1) look at what YOU wrote about the Wigan pen.

                        2) Yes, that is the problem.

The situation is dire, we are in free fall.

Haven't read all this thread so it might have already been discussed.....

But why wasn't Carroll started? Weare playing against the tea that can't defend corners / crosses and we drop a player that can actually do something in the air....

I think Kenny isn't the man to take us forward either.....

Rafa would make Carroll a half-decent player (Stevie ****in Wonder can see he is never going to be a 35m player) - he did it with Crouch.....with Mista.....

I don't think even Jesus Christ can make Carroll a half decent player.
