I agree with resting Gerrard and Suarez, Agger and Johnson (if fit enough) ideally need some minutes to prove they can last 90 mins at Wembley.
Everyone else needs to be told they are playing for their semi final place as none of them have been good enough of late.
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

Some playing for their futures at this club! Show some ****ing passion and get the fans back on side, only so much **** we can accept.
You would think that, but Maxi could play a blinder, score 5 and he'd still get dropped for Downing and not play again for another 10 games.

        yeah it's a fair shout

if johnson is fit that would be a massive boost - because if not i am expecting the back four against Everton to be....

        Carra----skrtel---agger---enrique

so a fit johnson with some minutes under his belt would be a plus

all i want is to get through this game, in order....

Key players to be 100% for Saturday
        No injuries
        No suspensions
        and somehow get 3 points

it's not too much to ask for is it
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

          Yes, of course that'd happen.

Tbf, he has done more in terms of productivity than our other wide players combined despite barely playing this season.

it's not pretty but it'll do i reckon
I think Skrtel, Suarez and Shelvey will all start.

I also think Sterling will be on the bench and may even get few minutes of playing time.

I don't expect Stevie to even travel with the team for this one.

You know I feel with all the **** recently, we are going to hump theses tonight, and I am one of the most pessimistic fans of recent.
It's a prediction thread on a wish list.

I've no idea if there are things going on that we don't know about, perhaps regarding his attitude for example, but on face value I'm bemused as to why we've seen nothing more of him. His brief appearance against Wigan looked full of promise to me.

In fact I'd go as far as saying I've been really annoyed with each subsequent team sheet / squad when I've seen he hasn't featured. Seeing us blood some of the youngsters is the only thing, FA Cup aside obviously, that gives me much of an interest for the rest of the season.

I think you'll see him today at least on the bench as we will resting some key players and Bellamy will also probably stay hom in Liverpool (2 day rest is not enough for his knees) so he'll travel with first team imo definitely to fulfill the quota.

I do agree that given the ****e season we had since CC victory seeing him few minutes against Wigan his cameo appearance was the most exciting thing in that period.

I think we need to go into Sat in a postive frame of mind ... that said I would rest Key players ... and definitely not risk Agger

That makes three of us then, because you can guarantee that Arn, wherever he may be, thinks it too
