I've no idea if there are things going on that we don't know about, perhaps regarding his attitude for example, but on face value I'm bemused as to why we've seen nothing more of him. His brief appearance against Wigan looked full of promise to me.

In fact I'd go as far as saying I've been really annoyed with each subsequent team sheet / squad when I've seen he hasn't featured. Seeing us blood some of the youngsters is the only thing, FA Cup aside obviously, that gives me much of an interest for the rest of the season.

I think the plan is to ease him into the squad gently.
His reserve team performance against Villa was very good and that was after being in the wigan squad and then being left out of it so personally I think these 'attitude' rumours flying around and the crap in the papers about him wating to move is complete bollocks.

I want him to feature in all the remaining squads but think we all have to remember that he is only just 17, I'm sure I read something about Kenny saying they have to be careful with him and want him to be stronger so they need to allow him to develop physically
