I wonder if dropping Enrique was to see if Downing can improve his game? Agger is a better passer of the ball and might release Downing sooner rather than running next to him like Enrique does then ****ting himself and passing sideways.

Maxi should have been part of that time.Originally posted by Muddled View PostI can understand dropping Shelvey (just), because we need to retain our shape.
But on the flipside, it goes to show you can't *play* yourself into contention.
With the above being proved by Maxi.

It might work out that way, but I think it's so Carra can play.Originally posted by foresterbloke View PostI wonder if dropping Enrique was to see if Downing can improve his game? Feel free to disagree.

Big big gamble to take in the semi final of the FA Cup against in-form, bitter rivals.Originally posted by foresterbloke View PostI wonder if dropping Enrique was to see if Downing can improve his game? True enough but Agger is not a natural LB, and has been exposed there. Agger is a top draw CB and has formed a super partnership with Skrtel, so i'd rather use him there than in an unnatural position.Originally posted by NigelLG View PostEnrique's form has been ****, offensively at least. I think Agger offers more there.
P.S. Unless Johnson will play at LB again and Carra at RB?
