      MATCH FACTS

      Head-to-head

      • This is the 218th meeting in a rivalry that began in 1894. Liverpool lead by 86 wins to 66, with 65 draws. Liverpool have scored exactly 300 goals; Everton 249.

      • Liverpool have already done the double over their Merseyside neighbours in the Premier League this season with a 5-0 aggregate. Steven Gerrard scored a hat-trick in the Reds' 3-0 triumph at Anfield.

      • This is the 17th time they've been paired together in the FA Cup. Liverpool lead 9-7, but Everton are chasing a third successive triumph.

      • Liverpool lead 3-1 in semi-finals, and are looking to deny Everton a place in the final for the fourth time in a row.

      • The Reds were also victorious on the only occasion they clashed in the final; 3-1 at Wembley in 1986, with a double from Ian Rush and one from Craig Johnston; Gary Lineker scored for Everton.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Anybody got any stats on how often we win when Linda Pizzuti's in attendance? The lads always seem to up their game when she's watching them in the flesh. Anyway, It appears that Linda will be opting for baseball this weekend and will not be at Wembley.

                I am now officially worried!

Find that disappointing if they've ****ed off to America again, I know they've got lives over there but this is one of our biggest games in years then theres the memorial service on Sunday.

Hopefully, they will jet over for the memorial service. I'm sure they can't be that out of touch.

True but that's just her. Essentially isnt she just the girlfriend of one of our owners?

I'd be disappointed if there wasnt a few representatives from FSG present. I presumed Henry and Werner will be there tomorrow

It's Red Sox home opening weekend this weekend and also the 100th anniversary of Fenway, so it doesn't look too likely.

They are the owners not the club mascots, i'm sure somebody from FSG will be there in person so certain fans can feel all warm and ****ing fuzzy inside

Oh right, well i'd understand if the bigwigs arent there. I'm sure they'll have some people over.

                            Does it really matter?

Only if you are a vacuous douchbag then it is off critical importance, meanwhile the rest of us is just looking forward to a derby at Wembley
